Refresh the iPhone installation

Keep Apple signing current, recover an expired installation, and understand when you need Windows for an app update.

Check the installation date

Open the installation refresh page in Stealth Settings and read the expiry shown for your installed profile. That date comes from the installation or its last verified renewal. It is independent of your subscription’s billing date. Refresh while the app still opens rather than waiting for it to expire.

Refresh on this iPhone

  1. Connect LocalDevVPN and return to Stealth.
  2. Use the same Apple account used to install this copy of Stealth. Keep a trusted Apple device ready if verification is requested.
  3. Complete Apple sign-in, then use Refresh now.
  4. Keep Stealth open while renewal runs and read the result before leaving.

The password is not saved by Stealth on iPhone. Authentication sessions are stored in the Keychain for later refreshes. If automatic refresh is enabled, it runs under the app’s connection and execution requirements; closing the app is not a guarantee it will renew itself.

When Apple sign-in fails

Read the error and check that the phone has internet access. A temporary authentication-helper or Apple service error does not prove your password is wrong. Retry after checking connectivity. If an installation step asks you to unlock the phone or return to its Home Screen, do that before retrying the Windows operation. Do not repeatedly change Apple accounts to fix a connection error.

If the account does not match the installed profile, sign in with the original installation account. If you no longer have it or the app cannot open, use Windows to install again with the account you intend to keep.

Refresh versus update

Refresh renews the current app’s signing profile. It does not download a new Stealth version. To get a mobile release, connect the iPhone to Windows and use the companion installation flow. Wait for installation to complete, then open the phone app and verify the version in Settings.

If the installation has already expired, its own refresh controls may no longer be reachable. Reinstall through Windows. Your Stealth account and paid access are separate from the local Apple installation, so reinstalling is not a reason to purchase another plan.
