Compatibility and responsible use

Stealth gives you controls for simulated device location. What another app does with that signal is outside Stealth’s control.

App behavior varies

Apps may use different location sources, update on different schedules, or apply their own checks and rules. A simulated coordinate does not guarantee that a third-party app will display that place or accept the session. Updates to iOS or another app can also change behavior.

Know what location simulation changes

Stealth changes the location value available to supported device workflows while a session is active. It does not change your internet address, rewrite information already stored by another service, or control what that service records on its servers.

Use it with care

  • Check the rules for any app or service before using simulated location with it.
  • Do not use Stealth to commit fraud, harass someone, evade safety checks, or mislead a person who relies on your real location for safety.
  • Tell people when location sharing is being used as a safety measure; do not treat a simulated map position as proof of someone’s whereabouts.
  • Stop the session when you are done and verify the location your device reports afterward.

What changes and what stays the same

Stealth simulates the location reported through supported device tools. It does not move the phone, replace a network connection, or make an account anonymous. Your IP address and other signals can still describe a different region. Browser-only location changes and iPhone system location simulation solve different problems.

For mobile operation, Windows is used for initial installation and app updates. Once the required pairing, signing, permissions, and local connection are ready, supported phone controls can operate without leaving the Windows computer attached. That does not remove Apple’s installation expiry or iOS execution limits.

Third-party apps make their own decisions

Find My, Life360, Snapchat, and other location-based apps can request device location, cache results, or apply their own restrictions. Stealth cannot promise that every version of every app will accept a simulated coordinate or display it immediately. Their rules and account decisions remain outside Stealth’s control.

Check a feature in a controlled situation before relying on it. Do not use simulated location as proof of someone’s physical presence, as an emergency location source, or to interfere with another person’s safety. Only use devices and accounts you own or are authorized to control.

Before asking for help

Write down whether the issue concerns installation, sign-in, local connection, a selected coordinate, or another app’s display. Check the Stealth version and the exact error before changing settings. Reinstalling, clearing account data, and changing Apple accounts at once makes the original problem harder to identify.

For connection failures, begin with the guided checks. For expired signing, use the refresh instructions. For billing or private account issues, use email rather than a public community channel. The Terms and Privacy Policy explain account access, subscriptions, permissions, and data handling in more detail.

Still need a hand?

For community help, visit Get support. For private account or billing questions, email support@getstealth.net. Include your app version, iOS or Windows version, the step you reached, and the exact error. A screenshot of the error helps; hide email addresses and other personal details first. Never send passwords, verification codes, pairing files, or signing certificates.
