Install Stealth for Windows

The Windows setup app checks the current Stealth release and installs the available version. Keep the same setup app; you do not need a new installer for every release.

Install or update

  1. Download StealthSetup.exe from the Stealth website.
  2. Open the downloaded file and follow the setup screen. It checks the release information and downloads the matching app package.
  3. When setup finishes, launch Stealth from the desktop shortcut or Start menu.
  4. To check for a newer release later, close Stealth and run the same setup app again.

Connect an iPhone

Install Apple Devices for Windows if needed, then connect and unlock the iPhone. Tap Trust on the phone if iOS asks. Stealth shows connection requirements in the app when a driver, permission, or device step is missing.

Windows security message

Only run the installer you downloaded from getstealth.net. If Windows shows an unknown-publisher warning, verify the download source before deciding whether to continue. Stop and contact support if the file came from somewhere else or its name has changed unexpectedly.

Need a clean reinstall? Close Stealth first, then run the setup app and choose its reinstall or uninstall option.

Prepare Windows and the USB connection

Start with a Windows PC that can connect to the internet and a USB cable that carries data. A cable can charge an iPhone without exposing it to Windows, so charging alone is not a reliable connection check. Plug directly into the computer for the first setup rather than through a hub.

Install Apple Devices from the Microsoft Store if device support is missing. Open it and check that your unlocked iPhone appears before retrying Stealth. You do not need to change your iCloud account to use the Stealth email sign-in.

What the download does

The setup app downloads and prepares Stealth for Windows. Use the same setup app when you need to install it again; avoid old version-specific links copied from a message. Keep the connection available while the download completes. If Windows blocks the download, read its warning and confirm you downloaded from the official Stealth site before proceeding.

After opening Stealth, sign in with the email that holds your access. Then connect the iPhone and open the phone installation controls when you want to install Stealth Mobile. Installing the Windows app by itself does not complete the iPhone setup.

Windows updates and mobile updates

A Windows release updates the desktop app. A mobile release replaces the iPhone companion and needs the iPhone installation flow. They are separate operations: downloading a mobile package does not mean the phone has already received it. Read which app the update applies to before starting.

Keep the phone unlocked during a mobile installation and wait for the installer to report success. If an installation is interrupted, reconnect the device and retry that step instead of deleting your account or purchasing another plan.

If the iPhone does not appear

  1. Unlock it and leave it on the Home Screen.
  2. Reconnect the USB cable and accept Trust This Computer on the phone if asked.
  3. Check Apple Devices. If it cannot see the phone either, try another data cable or USB port.
  4. Once Apple Devices sees it, return to Stealth and retry the connection.

A missing device and a missing subscription are different problems. Fix device detection first if the installer says no iPhone is connected.
